We would like to send out a big welcome to Ulrich & Associates firm. This is a unique CPA firm that helps businesses with all aspects of accounting, taxes, book-keeping and their associated services.
What makes this firm unique is the fact that they not only really know what they are talking about, but they say it in such a way that anybody can understand. They are experts in their field (recently recognized as one of the best CPA firms in the country from Forbes Magazine) but they are also approachable, reachable by phone and a lot of fun to work with. That seems to be quite unique within this industry and we are proud to be working on formulating a new online presence for them with a new website.

There is much speculation out there about how our economy is actually doing and where it will be in the coming months and years to come. As a small business owner, i myself have kept a close eye on this to ensure that Wold Creative Group will not only survive but thrive within these financially tenuous times.
As with all economic shifts, there are two sides to the coin. When some companies are struggling, others are booming. Is this just industry specific? I think that has something to do with it but the companies that are booming right now also know that this is a time of opportunity.
With some organizations cutting back their spending on advertising or marketing strategies because they think that will save their company some money, other organizations are able to create waves within their industry through advertising and marketing strategies. Cutting back on marketing to save money is often a fallacy due to the fact that it only saves money at present but certainly hurts the potential future revenue stream. As some say, “stepping over dollars to pick up pennies”.
I am not advocating spending a bunch of money on advertising or marketing, rather, keep on spending something, anything, on advertising and marketing. In addition, i am also advocating to spend your money wisely and not put your advertising dollars in one area (publication, medium, campaign). Keeping up or starting to have a presence within your industry during the time where other organizations may be cutting back is a win-win situation and should allow you to get a leg-up on the competition. In other words, your dollars spent on advertising or marketing will go farther and do more within our economic climate.
The current state of the economy can be an opportunity for your organization to stand out and get noticed. All you have to do is to make sure that your brand is still out there and wisely placed.

This summer, Powder Mountain is offering off-road tours of the mountain with its Summer Safari. After riding on this beast myself, it is easy to see why the 4×4 open-air off-road vehicle is affectionately called the “powzilla”. It is a chance to do some real off-roading while touring one of the best ski areas.
To help drive traffic to this new summer attraction, we were called in to develop environmental prints as well as online campaign. After creating the photography, attached posters, online Flash banners as well as its own page on their website, they immediately started getting reservations. What do you know…i guess strategic implementation of a cross-media marketing campaign really works!
Enjoy.

A big welcome to the Columbine Inn. This Inn provides exclusive slope-side lodging at Powder Mountain, the Utah ski area with the most skiable terrain of any resort in the U.S. Wold Creative Group will be creating a website for the Columbine Inn that will allow them to “show off” their facilities as well as their beautiful location.
With the use of Flash, Javascript, PHP and, of course, HTML code, we will also be able to cycle through images, have dynamic site navigation, incorporate Search Engine Optimization (SEO) as well as create online reservation forms which will greatly decrease their labor time.
In other words, not only will it look good, it will actually help their bottom line through less time spent procuring patrons. We are looking forward to it.

We are proud to announce another website up and running for a client. This website is for the Winter Sports School in Park City. The Winter Sports School in Park City is one of the most unique private schools in the country because it is specifically centered around competitive athletes that need to have an open winter schedule to compete. Located at the Utah Olympic Park, this school has a rich history of producing world class athletes including gold medalists from the 2006 Winter Olympics in skiing.

We have another new website up and running. This is an educational video company that we created an e-commerce website for. In fact, the only way to purchase their videos is through the website where you are able to immediately download the videos after purchasing. We were able to compress and format the videos where they are still high-quality and yet are able to download within a minute.
We developed their branding (logo), their website and messaging and now have also done some advertising and marketing consulting for RJ Connections.

We have just launched another client website. While keeping the content to a minimum due the fact that this organization is just starting out, we incorporated a blog within the website while utilizing flash as a dynamic element on the homepage.

It has been a long time coming but we finally have a bit more breadth to our portfolio section. As much as i wish that the portfolio section is now definitive, the fact is that this is still the tip of the iceberg of work that we have done. It shows some of our work from ads to websites to logos to print to…well, you get the idea. Enjoy.

We are working on a site for The Bridge, a new church starting in the Bay Area in California. Starting with their brand, we developed the look of the site to be inviting, contemporary and to not look like a traditional church website. The idea of the church is to reach an audience that has been turned off by traditional churches and so we wanted to create something that would reach a larger audience. Since this project is in the works, here is a preview of what will be a website with a blog incorporated into the site to for an easily update-able site.

We often recommend the use of blogs for businesses when approaching a website for them. That might seem a little odd if you think of blogs as i used to, that they are personal free-association online journals. Yes, there are those that have personal blogs that do divulge just about anything on their mind, but that isn’t really what i am referring to here.
A blog can simply be the free avenue in which a dynamic website can exist while still being professional. Moreover, a company can be more free to show more personality, flavor and experience through a blog than a website. When it comes down to it, a website needs to have a level of professionalism that can win over potential clients. Coupled with this website should (not always, but often) be a blog that also supports your brand to win over potential clients. Both of them working together can give a broader-reaching response to question of “who is your company”.
Recently, we helped Closeknit Clothing setup a blog. With their focus on fashion within an urban market, this sort of avenue is perfect medium for their intended audience. We branded their blog to match the look of their already-existing website so that both of them complement each other and further the brand of Closeknit Clothing.
We also added in the capability for visitors to subcribe to future blog posts. Then, when Closeknit updates their blog, subscribers will automatically get e-mailed and therefore this can be treated as an ongoing e-mail newsletter.
