architecture photo shoot 2

Monday, August 17th, 2009

We did another photo shoot for Brach Design Architecture. This house, located in the Avenues within Salt Lake City, is almost a passive house. That essentially means that this house is very sustainable and uses things like solar panels and automatic windows that create natural air circulation so there is no need for a traditional HVAC system. This is the future of architecture people. Not to mention, the architectural design itself that is incredible.

architecture photography

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

On rare occasion, the creative work done by our clients stands alone without any need to design something ourselves. Such is the case with Brach Design Architecture. With modern, clean design that creatively uses space, line and flow to perfection within their architecture, all we have to do it let it shine by showing it for what it is.

One of the things that impresses us about them is their commitment to good design but also to the environment. Being the only Passive House Design Consultant in Utah, they take architecture to a new level of utilizing the sun, airflow and passive elements to create a house that will save the environment as well as money through time.

Wold Creative Group has been capturing the recent projects that have been designed by Brach Design Architecture. Here are a few images from our recent photography of a house located at the fun district of 9th and 9th. Click here to learn more about Brach Design Architecture

missions organization website

Friday, August 7th, 2009

We have just launched a new website for Beyond Partnership, an established missions organization based out of Sacramento, CA. Their primary focus is to work with and under national leaders within south america and asian countries in order to meet the basic needs of the locals. Once this relationship has been established, Beyond Partnership works with churches and organizations within the US to work for the nationals of the countries on their local projects.

Wold Creative Group first developed the brand and logo for the organization. After this we worked with the staff to create a website that accurately portrayed what they do and their heart for the underprivileged around the world.

salt lake photography site

Tuesday, July 21st, 2009

Michael Tallman is one of the top wedding photographers in salt lake city, utah. He not only captures the event but also has the uncanny ability to capture the emotion behind what is going on. In other words, his photos are not stale, staged images but rather seem to exude life.

Wold Creative Group worked with Michael in his branding and then on his new website that just launched. With photography like his, we really were attempting to create a frame for the photos and something that he could dynamically alter to grow the site. Like a mat for a photo, we trimmed the site with white and kept the design elements of the site as simple as possible. We designed this in such a way so the design itself would not be noticed while the photos jumped off the page…so to speak.

sage environmental website

Tuesday, June 16th, 2009

We are proud to launch a new website for Sage Environmental, an environmental assessment agency located in Salt Lake City. With governmental and private-sector clients, Sage Environmental has an interesting clientele that spans throughout the west coast. Projects of theirs range from airports, new railways to risk assessment for just about anything.

Wold Creative Group has created a search engine optimized (SEO) website for Sage Environmental with a couple of goals in mind; increase traffic through a SEO site and to improve their brand presence to translate site visitors into potential clients. Not to brag or anything, (ok, just a little bragging going on here), but we think we did OK.

inn photoshoot

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

Located at the mouth of Zion National Park, the Desert Pearl Inn is a modern take on the hotel experience. The details of the inn are exquisite. From the high ceilings to the wood framework of the inn coming from reclaimed railroad ties. Surrounded by rough red rock, the clean lines of the Desert Pearl Inn create a juxtaposition of old and new, rough and modern that allows you to experience Zion National Park while in ultimate comfort.

Wold Creative Group is working with them on various elements which all could benefit from solid photography. We recently completed a photoshoot at the Desert Pearl Inn. Check it out their website here (we did not design this site by the way).

homeowners association website

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

We just completed a user-generated homeowners association site. This website allows the association to add pages, discussions, files, images, comments and all with a easily-manageable backend. Without the need of a traditional marketing-centric website, we instead focused on a professional look while opening the site up to endless possibilities for the homeowners association.

surf, skate, snow event

Thursday, March 19th, 2009

It may sound a little odd, but, yes, there is a surf, skate and snowboard event right here in Utah. The skate park and the surf pool are indoors and then the finale is up at Powder Mountain for the snowboard event.

With a younger, active audience in mind, we created a poster campaign that has a lot of movement. We think that this will get the attention that it needs from the appropriate audience that are ready to “shred” (is that what they call it?).

twitter unravelled

Monday, March 9th, 2009

This is all over the news and so i figure that it is a good thing to discuss. Twitter, like facebook or other Social Networks, is merely another way for people to communicate. Twitter allows you to put in 140 characters to say your latest thoughts and then people “follow” you so they can get a constant stream of your latest posts. This sounds a little journal-like and not-so-business-like at first glance.

Admittedly, i still have my doubts as to the marketing benefit of using twitter. Partly because it seems like this would be hard to translate into actual business and partly because this seems like a lack on continuity between thoughts that you share to the world (remember that you can only use 140 characters per post).

That being said, this may also be another tool for reaching an audience. This will allow you to have direct access to an audience, and therefore, to either a potential market or a peer group. This means that this may not effect sales directly, but over time, this could lead to your expertise in a field which would translate to sales, finding competent employees or problem-solving through twitter. I am current checking twitter out myself to see it this holds any weight. Feel free to check out my page. http://twitter.com/jeremywold

Try it out, but try this with the expectation that is a very small avenue for getting your marketing message out in a very ADHD sort of way. This is still it in its baby stages.
